With over a decade of nursing experience, Sarajane has served in diverse roles across intensive care, step-down, and long-term acute care settings. Her areas of expertise include healthy work environments, increasing retention rates, clinical quality and patient safety, performance improvement using national benchmarks (NDNQI, HCAHPS), and reducing hospital-acquired conditions such as CLABSI, CAUTI, HAPI, and patient falls. She is also highly skilled in EMR systems (EPIC), Kronos scheduling, and project-based quality initiatives.

Sarajane is a proven leader, serving on the board of the AACN First Coast Chapter for almost 10 years. Her leadership history includes chairing critical care councils and unit-based committees, as well as mentoring staff nurses and educating future nurses as an adjunct clinical professor for Jacksonville University. Her dedication to excellence in nursing has been recognized with awards such as the Florence Nightingale Award, the Joyful Nurse Award, and the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
